Brake Cooling Plates:
RRT is the original developer of the Brake Cooling Plates for BMWs. RRT is the cooling plate supplier to many of the top racing teams.
Duct cool air directly into your rotors to help prevent the over-heating of your braking system. RRT manufactures these plates that have dominated the BMW racing and track market for years. Save your rotors and pads with this easy to install performance and safety accessory.
These plates are our older stainless steel design. Most of our newer plates are anodized aluminum (and available for full price). These plates are just as effective as our newer ones, just a little bit heavier. Plates are sold as is, some may have scratches or be slightly warped - this will not effect the performance of the plates. All sales are final.

I am pretty sure I want Hawk pads.
But rotors well I want some crossed drill rotors. the brembo rotors that you have are smooth or what kind of pattern? same as Zimmerman. Could you post some pics of them?
Thanks,
Christian.

Christian,
First off, we don't recomend cross drilled rotors. Although they look nice, cross-drilled rotors have a tendency to crack, as well as decreasing the surface are of the rotor where the pad touches it, therefore giving less braking potential and pad life.
With that being said, if you really want cross-drilled rotors, we can get you some Zimmermans. The Zimmermans would be $60 per rotor in the front and $45 per rotor in the rear.
I would assume you want the Hawk HPS, which would be $65.64 for the fronts and $53.85 for the rears. Everything together would be $329.49 not including shipping. Let me know if I can answer any more questions for you.
Thanks,
David

They are not on special, but they would still only be $34.95 each. Shipping would run around $25.
SR20Fastback 05-24-2004, 05:15 PM Ah alright, thanks anyways man.
eMMMotional 05-25-2004, 03:19 AM Do you guys have a line on Euro M3 e36 front rotors? If so, how much. If not, I might just take those stockers off of ya for $49.95 each. What will shipping be to 92870?
Thanks
Damon
David@RRT 05-25-2004, 12:30 PM The Euro floating rotors are $129.50 per side, and shipping will be around $20. Let me know what you want to do.

M34sale 05-26-2004, 12:34 AM Dave.
do you still have the brake cooling backing plates?
BlackM3Sedan 05-26-2004, 07:17 AM The brake cooling plates that are on sale for the E36 M3 says that it includes hardware (hose clamps and bolts). Does that mean it's the full cooling kit with the ductwork and coupler or is it just the bolts to fasten it to the hub? If not, how much extra is it to make the full kit?
Is the free shipping advertised on the homepage include these deals?
David@RRT 05-26-2004, 09:27 AM We do still have the cooling plates.
The hardware that is included is just the hose clamps and bolts. It does not include the hose and couplers. The hose is $6.50/ft. or $55 for ten feet (the e36 M3 needs around 6ft). The couplers are $85.
Sorry about the free shipping confusion, we need to update the web. That was a special for the month of April and does not apply to orders anymore.

We actually just came out with Big Brake Kit Plates (http://www.roadracetech.com/performance_catalog/parts_menu/brakes/brake_cooling.asp), so there shouldn't be any modification necessary. Let me know if you have any questions.

m3ltw98 06-01-2004, 01:51 PM What is the diameter of them? Let me know. Thanks

943184dr 06-07-2004, 06:32 PM I have a E36 318 that has E46 330 brakes in the front and will have E36 m3 brakes in the rear(E36 m3 rear susp. swap) , would the regular 318 brake cooling plates work for my application? how much longer will this sale last?
Thanks
Tom
David@RRT 06-08-2004, 11:27 AM Tom,
The e36 standard plates should work. There might need to be a slight modification of the plates to make them fit around the brakes. Let me know if you would like them, there is only one more set on speacial in stock.
Thanks

icemann633 06-23-2004, 08:19 PM Im looking for slotted rear rotors...What do you have and how much??
Specifically....whats a price for euro floaters in front....slotted in rear....and HAWK HPS all the way around?
David@RRT 06-24-2004, 11:12 AM icemann633,
The euro floating rotors are $129.50 per rotor. I can get you slotted brembos or stoptechs. The brembos would be $199 for the pair and the stoptechs would be $142 each. The HPS pads are $64.50 for the front set and $53.50 for the rear set. Do you have stainless steel lines? The reason I ask is because I might just recomend a stoptech stage 2 brake upgrade (link (http://www.roadracetech.com/performance_catalog/parts_menu/brakes/stoptech.asp) ). It would be $699 and include SS lines, upgraded street pad like the HPSs, slotted rotors for front and rear, and motul brake fluid. Anyway, let me know if I can help.
943184dr 06-24-2004, 09:27 PM David,
Is it required to call in to place an order to get this pricing? i wanted to get a set of e36 m3 rear rotors and some hawk hps pads if you had them.
Thanks
Tom
icemann633 06-24-2004, 09:39 PM Yea i allready have stainless steal lines so what kinda package deal can i get without them included?
From the pics at that link the rotors looked to be floating but i dont know? Can you give me some more info on the rotors offered and how they compare to the euro floaters?
I need brakes BAD!!
David@RRT 06-25-2004, 01:59 PM 943184dr,
you can call, email me your info (troha@roadracetech.com), or send me a pm. We don't have online ordering yet, sorry.
icemann633,
The stoptechs are floating rotors. In terms of a comparison, I, personally would go with the stoptechs. A lot of people have run the euro floating rotors and not noticed much of a difference at all, and I believe the stoptechs to be more effective. Let me know if you have any other questions.
icemann633 06-25-2004, 07:42 PM How much can u hook em up for 4 rotors and pads?
and how much are the rotors themselves...
The thing is i can get all the other stuff wholesale but i cant get these wholesale...I can set up an account if we could but if not what kinda deals can we get?
David@RRT 06-28-2004, 09:28 AM icemann633,
the stoptech rotors are $140 each in the front and $142 each in the rear. I am confused what you trying to say in the rest of your post.

SG_M3 07-07-2004, 04:55 PM Will the e36 cooling kit fit an M3?
Viper3812 07-08-2004, 12:02 AM Is the special still going on? If it is, are the Brembo cross drilled or slotted rotors still $34.95 for a 318ti?
David@RRT 07-09-2004, 02:34 PM The e36 M3 plates are sold out, and the standard e36 plates do not fit the M3. We are currently waiting for our new, aluminum plates to be finished. I will post as soon as they are available.
The special is still going on, it will continue until we run out of stock. The rotors are oem rotors, they are not crossdrilled or slotted (those styles would be extra).
