The person taht is selling these are going for $375. This is the cheapest bike that i found online or even around me. The person is located in Cali and wont ship, but i ask if i can get more then 5 people to buy, could he do it then. He said to give him a call back in a couple days to get the asnwer but to ask around to see how many people would really be intrested.

What u see in the picture is what u get.
They can be street legal if u go to the dmv and get it registered.

Do you have the specs on that bike. I know a few friends would definetely be interested but I've still been researching about them. There are so many bikes on Ebay to choose from I was still trying to decide which bike is best for the money. If you can get some more info on the bikes that'd be great. Not to blow this deal BUt I can get the same bike, 49cc Pocket bike for $350 http://forums.bimmerforums.com/foru...ht=pocket+bikes and Yes the guy will ship to any where in the united states, and there is 5 different color to choice from, silver, black, yellow, red and blue.

If there is more than 5 buyers he'll even knock the price down to $340 + shipping

You only need to buy one and its $345 ( http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=47352&item=3677501696&rd=1 )

or just go to pepboys and buy it for $399 cause any money you save your going to make up in shipping charges.

I'm curious...what's the purpose of these little bikes? I see them so much (on TV) now. They appear to be too small for an adult male to ride. :dunno

Well the real ones, not these $300 clones, are actually used in Japan for racing for kids. There are also some adults that race them here but I think they're for fun. I know at the car/bike show, they have fun little races on a course made w/ cones. The guys are wearing full leathers and dragging knees. It's pretty funny. I also have a video of guys riding Deals Gap and they're going pretty fast.
It seems like this is the new fad now that you can get them pretty cheap. The Polini's and ZPF's range in the 1K to even 3K. A couple of fools got them around my neighborhood and it's annoying as hell when they go back and forth down the street. Get on a real bike....

yes, the 47cc bikes are lighter (around 47lbs), faster....and even smaller so you'll look even more silly riding it. i'm holding out on a group buy for one o' the 47cc bikes. i'd like to be able to pick the bike up, carry it away, and put it back on my desk to display it. the 49cc bikes are too bulky/heavy for that.

just remember though, these are not to paolini(sp) or blata caliber, race- tuned pocket bikes. they're 'generic', chinese made econo-versions.

i got pulled over by a cop the other day when i was test driving a 49cc (the exact same one pictured on this thread, not all that impressed by the power and i only weigh 150). he stated you need a motorcycle license, helmet and all other kinds o nonsense to even ride it in a residential area....rules are for robots.

I was under the impression that anything under 50cc's were considered mopeds, so you didn't need a motorcycle licence to drive them? I believe thats how my buddy rode his ysr50 back in middle school. :D
