I am suing them, and have a court date in Michigan next month because they are refusing to warranty a set of chrome m-parrallel replicas that completely disentigrated in less than 1 year (even though they have a 3 year warranty). The claim "brake dust" damage, even though their warranty does not say anything about "brake dust" voiding the warranty. They also lied to several government agencies claiming the the wheels have a mild pitting and are not peeling as I claim. I have a six inch piece of the chrome that literally fell off the wheel (I think this qualifies as more than pitting). I also have many pictures that show the damage, as well as the wheels themselves. Don't give them your business!

1. Since you have pictures, post them so we can see what you're talking about. When you say your wheels disintegrated, my first reaction is you're embellishing things a bit, OK a LOT.
2. Until you win in court, you're only bashing a company that may actually be innocent of what you claim. Would suck to get sued for libel if you lost wouldn't it?
3. "lied to several government agencies" - what does this mean? Is the CIA and FBI looking into this? Who are you talking about?

the internet fraud dept. of the FBI, and the BBB (but I don't think this is a govt. agency). I think there may be more. I will post pics when I get a chance.

I wouldn't buy REPLICA MPs to begin with. (or really any other replica wheels for that matter)

Eric - again, you will find a lot more support if/when you post pics

I hope you'll consider investing in a camera that takes better pictures one day, maybe you can give that one to SnakeBitten.

First thing I notice is that the pictures you show are from the inside of the rim and the lip appears to have rubbed on something - is that the way it was machined?

Secondly I would like to bring up the point that you are mistaken about their warranty, they expressly deny brake dust corrosion. http://www.aaarims.com/warranty.shtml - Corrosion as a result of surface damage, adverse weather conditions, brake dust or road salt oxidation, contact of balance weight, or abrasion from hubcap.

I did notice if you go to http://www.aaarims.com/warranty.html, brake dust is not mentioned - given the confusion possible, if you were provided with a written copy of the warranty when you got the wheels and it is not the one that mentioned brake dust and if you have a smart enough lawyer you may get somewhere with it. That assumes that the wheel has not rubbed on anything, anywhere.

complaint/lawsuit. I have copies of the warranty that they sent to me that does not include the items that it does now mention.

Well on the surface it appears you've been screwed over - they of course have their side of the story. Good luck with the case.
