tony(topaz,SMG) 05-22-2004, 02:34 PM What wheels are those, and what type of finish do they have? Looks great.
FlyingHigh 05-22-2004, 04:55 PM Sweet! Bear, that really looks good. The spoiler is subtle but really nice for the 7. The wheels are unique and the height from the lowering looks perfect. Well done!
fozgate 05-22-2004, 06:46 PM That is one slick 7, nice work!!!

cplagz 05-23-2004, 01:13 AM Absolutely stunning, that M5 lip spoiler looks great, I think I will have to look into that a little further, you just cut two in half and joined them correct? painted then stuck on with double-sided tape.

Thanx for the compliments.
Actually 3 M5 spoiler makes 2 for the 7 series...
45degree mitre cut about 12" from the end gets you into a flat area, where it is easy to join. I used black polyvinyl spoilers, which are available from a coule guys on eBay for about $50 ea. I used some good epoxy, body filler and sand paper.
Prime/paint, 2-sided 3m tape - done

Better hurry, I've applied for a patent on this spoiler for the 7-series. You'll have to send me a buck$ when you mak'em
Seriously, unless someone steps up and manufactures these things <1-piece>, it is a PITA to make

I am back in town Thursday, I'll put a few up. If you go to UUCMOTORWERKS.com and look for the RKC5 heavy shift knob, you'll see pics of the interior.
Md750 05-24-2004, 08:45 AM Bear, 2 questions:
-did you go from stock springs to the uuc springs?
-how do you like the ride on the new spring and how is it different?
Reed Hunt 05-24-2004, 12:13 PM Looks nice Bear.

Yes, went from stock to UUC springs. I absolutely love the ride. Sure it is a little firmer, but not overtly. Great onthe highway, the car steadies after high speed waves in the road much quicker. Feels more connected, more feedback. Around town, it is very nice also, bumps are a bit harsher, but again the tradoff is well worth it. You don;t lose the lux ride, it just feels more connected and firm. Look fantastic, too. Dont; you think?
