Don Fields, in Farmingdale, NJ. He runs his own shop, Mr. M Car. Excellent work.

Dave, that's a good 40 miles from me but I'll still check it out. I'm in the New Brunswick/Somerset area....

I am looking for a good independent mechanic in Edison area NJ.

Anybody around me know of a good, fair, honest mechanic that won't charge me an arm and a leg.

Thanks,

Bobby

How far away from Edison are you?

I just moved to Somerville and I am trying to find a local place to do an alignment after I put my tie rods in. I know of Motorsport Recycling and European Autowerks, but both are 45 min away.

For an alignment you definitely want to go to Freedman Tire in Edison on Route 27.

If you're in Somerville there's a nice place in Edison about 20-30 minutes away. Phone # is 908-287-8959

I am putting on new tie rods next weekend so I am not sure how far I want to drive to get the alignment....
