Wow, those are some serious components. Nice choice :buttrock

What spring rates did you go with? Anyone know how the hollow front GC bar compares (size/stiffness wise) to a solid 26mm Eibach or 27mm RD bar? Of course the length of the bar also comes into play...

drooling and slobering....I believe I have seen your LTW around the corner from my place (literally right around the corner!!) and at TC Designs. I had Tony doing some diff mount reinforcement on my car before my Laguna event this past weekend, when I saw your LTW at his shop. Tried to stop by when your garage was open a couple of times (the LTW defintely caught my eye driving by!!) , but always catch one of your roommates instead. Anyway, if you see/hear a silver M Coupe with Magnaflows driving by that's me.

Hey, I know that Moton kit...No wonder Tony has been calling me to get parts.

If you need setup help, don't hesitate to give us a call. We have been running those kits since January.

I have both the Eibach's and the GC bars. GC Bar's are on the car right now. I also have dimensions of the RD Bar. Numbers are at home, but from memory, the GC front bar has the biggest range from soft to stiff. At the full stiff setting, Eibach is the softest (only 2 holes), followed by RD (3 Holes), then GC by a bunch (Slider). The Rear Eibach and RD bars both have 2 adjustment holes, while the GC has 5.

So you can go a bunch stiffer with the GC, and you have more range than with the others. Others may have more exact numbers. So far, I like the GC for the extra flexibility they offer, but not everyone may need that, or even want that much adjustement range. Makes it easier to screw things up. :D

Thanks for the feedback :) Mind me asking how stiff you have the front set. Have you played with it at full stiff? Did you reduce or increase understeer? I know all the theories... ;)

The stiffer front bar seemed to increase the grip, probably since the car is leaning less. I know that's counter to what many people think, but I can only report what the car is doing. Of course, I changed the rear bar also, so this isn't an exact comparison, since the rear may be a tad stiffer than before also. The overall front bar rate though is certainly higher than the Eibach on full stiff, and I like the feel of the car. I had one of our local multi-time SCCA national championship winner try it out this weekend, and he seemed pretty impressed with the handling, but did give me a few pointers on where to go next.

The front bar is set about 65% to full stiff right now. It was at 70%, and I backed it down a tad to balance things out. But the rear bar is only at the middle setting. I can't say yet this is optimum, but it is working pretty well. I may try going up stiffer front and rear to see what happens next, since the balance is pretty good right now. I just need more overall grip, and fender flares and 285/30-18's aren't in the budget for this year. :D
