Hey Jesse, Ryan and I did the Pocono time trail with the C.A.R.T. club on friday. It was a great event with tons of track time. Only 40 or so cars were at the event. I got my time down to 101.xx for the north course compared to 103.xx's I ran last year (thank you roll bar and seats :D ).

The confidence and not trying to brace myself due to the harness and seats really made a difference. Only other mod since last time was the crank pulley.

Ryan and I are not signed up for the FATT but we might be down friday night, not sure yet?

Matt-

Whatever happened with your trunk?

I hope the new circuit is completed by then.

Issue with the trunk - What happened is that the power lock soleniod for the trunk was jamming in the lock postion. This happened also about a year ago. Ryan and I ended up ripping the front and rear seats out of my car thursday night prior to going to Pocono. With the seats out we where able to just barely push the tires under the cross bar of the roll bar to get them out the front doors. Then I crawled into the back to unlatch it. To make sure this does not happen again, I disconnected the power lock soleniod. I talked to a couple of bimmer guys at Pocono and another guy with a 5 series had the exact same problem. He suggested the disconnect.

What a pain in the ASS!!!

Anyone, you do have to sign up for NASA though. I think it was $35 IIRC.

$35 isnt too bad if the DE is cheap (which it looks like it is -- $280 or something )
