On the news when I saw it they said it was recently bought and that the chase lasted about a minute until he spun, hit the tree, flipped and landed as pictured. Look what he did to the car. :nono

you guys act if you have never done anything stupid. And unless you know the whole story, how can you judge?

"Let me say these people are assholes for judging this guy because they don't know what happened, and then not tell them."

Whole story as it was presented to the world is at the top of the page there scar face. If you think knowing the 'whole story' that you seem to know would help us to change our minds, then you should tell us so we can decide our final opinions. At which point you can judge us based on those opinions. It's you who's prematurely judging and being the asshole, and hypocritical to boot.

Until then, we will think he's an idiot because he ran from the cops, and in doing so he only got two miles. Oh, and he ran from the cops. I can't really seem to think of a situation where running from the cops is a good idea. If he had shit in his car, it's an even worse idea. And thanks Chris, yes we've all done 'something stupid'. For most of us it didn't involve running from the police, and for all of us it was probably mocked on the internet.

If you want to defend your man, then do it and tell us why it was so fucking imperative that he run from the police.

Edit: Sorry, I've been dealing with stupid people all day and needed to vent. Also people being assholes on the boards for no reason needs to quit. It's just gay, be nice, were talking about cars and shit here.

Not that we've never done anything stupid, but nothing like running from the cops - no matter what the situation, he should have known it would turn out bad. I still stick with the consensus on this one.

Pretty damn easily.

1.) Run red light.
2.) Run from cops.
3.) Flip car.
4.) Injure passenger.

Any questions?

Oh yea, I forgot you where there? Unless you know what happened or saw it, your comment is useless. But I guess it makes you superior to be a cool internet tough guy and make fun of him. I bet every person on this thread has done something just as stupid, you act as if you never made a mistake.

And the original statement was directed at daniel for calling this guy out. Because he did some pretty stupid stuff, wrecking a brand new gti that wasn't his.

Please describe to me a scenario where running a red, running from cops, and flipping a car would not be a chain of events born of pure stupidity.

Edit: No, I have never done anything that stupid.

Yeah, especially when he wasn't even competent enough to negotiate one curve...in an M3. Pretty pathetic when you drive a sports car worse that a police officer in a Crown Victoria, irrespective of the injuries & loss of life.

He stopped for the red. THat light after 11 pm doesn't turn green, don't ask me why. Anyone in the area knows that. He was speeding and lost control. It wasn't a high speed chase. Cops turned on their lights, 10-15 seconds later he wrecked.

surrrrrre.

wow, you guys have nothing better to do than talk shit about a person you don't know and don't know the scenario. Of course he did something stupid, does that make him a stupid person? NO. Why do you feel the need to condemn him when you know little to nothing about what happened?

How do you figure he drove worse than the police officer? Who said the police officer kept up? You can't say you could have negotiated the same curve since you never saw it. Your post is useless, it is based on opinion rather than fact.

And my comment was directed at daniel the original poster, who just recently wrecked a car being an "ass clown". That is why I responded.

I'll give you the light. Local knowledge. Sounds like BS to me, but ok.

So 10-15 seconds to cover a 2 mile chase? His E36M3 was going 480+ MPH? Your buddy is BS ing you.

Again, BS...but ok

10 seconds after seeing the lights, your buddy was still going so fast that he was unable to control the car? LOL. Stupid.

it wasn't a two mile chase. It was right near the light.
