Buddy just a new TL and wants to run against me. His is a stock automanual, and my 540 is a six-speed. We wanna have a highway run, so i'm thinking i should be able to walk it. Don't wanna lose to a tl though, so any tips on what speed to start at, what rpm to shift at, etc etc.

This will probably be towed from the kill forums once it's noticed because nobody has been killed yet. Post again to the other 540 guys or just wait until it's towed, they'll most likely give you more information and help you with what you want to know.

EDIT: I saw 6spd. in your first post and I'm assuming you can drive that thing like it's supposed to, right? If so, you'll kill him with ease no matter how you do it.

I don't know... the TL 0-60 anywhere from 5.4-5.6 and 1/4 in 14.3. they are strong on the highway also... it will not be as easy as you think. that is of course the six-speed. It may be easy with the auto. :)
