Hey guys,
I figured I should do a Roll-Call for Eastern Europe members. I used to be from there (Moscow, Russia), but have been gone from there for years.
C'mon post up. Let's have a chat going

Hey SSGT USAF, I used to be a SSGT in the USAF myself. Now I'm a Black Hawk Test Pilot with the US Army. I thought I'd check in even though I'm a Western European person. Take Care and lets talk Bimmer!!

what's up. It's pretty interesting how many ex AF people I've met on this board. How do you like Germany? Are your Bimmers Euro or US spec?

They're both US spec. I didn't want any hassle if I decided to PCS back to the US. I love Germany, quick access to the rest of Europe as well. I spent 6 years at RAF Lakenheath, UK and hardly went anywhere. Now, I'm all over the place seeing all sorts. I just got back from a long weekend in Switzerland. We took the X-3 and drove all through the Alps...It was awesome. I was very impressed with the performance. Solid as a rock at 130mph. It was so hard to keep it under 100mph until the break in. I also had to vary the speed somewhat during the break-in and that was frustrating. Other than that it's wonderful car. I would post some pictures but i'm not sure how to type it in the "url" line that comes up. I'm used to being able to browse for the picture like normal.....very strange. Take care I've got to get to work. :redspot

that's pretty cool. You should still post some pics. If you hit Quote button then under the text block there's a button for "Manage Attachments". That one allows you to browse your files. There you go, OJT in pure form :D
