Hmm..today was an average day..i came home from school and sat on the computer just talking to my friend about stuff..yeah i was online just talking to some other friends while one of my friend said lets run it.. i thought he was kidding so i just laughed he said im serious lets go..so i said okay fine where? he said harbor bay meet me there in 5 mintues warm up your tires he says.i tell him okay be there in 5

So here's where the fun starts me and my friend billy got ready to leave my house to meet my other friend jimmy at harbor bay =] yeah billy fat ass was eating a pot pie..i told him to leave it there we will be back in like 5 mintues he said okay and left it..so we left i warmed up my tires while driving there just kinda swirve my car back and forth on the street to warm them up a bit. Anyways i get there first turn off my car cause i didnt wanna leave it on..wait like 1-2 mintues my friend arrives, i get out of the car just to talk to him an dstuff while he just smokes onje of his cigs all done i turn my car back on *i forgot to turn off DSC by the way* yeah we line up and billy sits next to me on the passgener side, anyways he told me to count down so i said okay i push my clutch all the way down push to first gear revs and honk 3 times i got a good launch but DSC kicked in and stopped it =[ so i stopped for one second then the car started moving again, by this time i was half a car behind him, yeah =[ caught up end of second gear shift but DSC kicked in again and lost it again shut it down around 80 miles and did another run.

2nd run: on the second run i told him i forgot to turn off DSC and then he said no wonder so i turned it off this time rev to around 4k honk 3 times and get off i get about a good 1/2 car on him and just keep going end of second im about a car ahead of him, into 3rd a little more end of 4th we shut it down cause there was a car in front of me =]..we just head back to my house to talk and stuff and jimmy left off to work..

Made my day today for all of you who dont know i have an E46 330ci completely stock and my friend has a 330zx and he has an ecu intake and exhuast.

Nice kill. The Z was a non-turbo model right? Just asking since a TT with a chip, intake and exhaust it would be close to 400 flywheel hp. Stillen's chip alone adds about 60 ponies, upping the boost.

Even the turbo 300ZX's go like pus. They run something line 6psi, are *really* heavy and are nowhere near 400hp.

Nice run, sounds like an even match.

Mike, 2 seater Zs weigh in around 3300lbs, which isn't much heavier than a '03 3 series.

ah, I only grew up with what we had in Australia, which was the 2+2. The twin turbo makes around 280hp but weights almost 3,500 pounds. It seems the US version is lighter and more powerful.

300hp (280 for the auto) , 3300 pounds, from what I remember 10 or 10.5 psi stock. Intake, exhaust and the chip = 14 or so psi which amounts to close to 400 flywheel hp. That would be around 300 at the wheels.

Gregski, stock it is more like 9.5psi, 14psi should net you around 380rwhp, when done atleast somewhat right.

I've got a buddy in Georgia who's stage 3+ Z was putting down 400rwhp at 16psi on Z1 Motorsports (www.z1motorsports.com) staged upgrade path, that would be a high-flow air filter, catback exhaust upgrade, ECU upgrade, and port matched intake and throttle body.

I wasn't sure of the exact #'s I estimated.

My point was to show how easily upgradeable it was.
