I was caravaning home from work with my cousin in his *tweaked* 325e (tweaked meaning a M50 swap..hee hee) and my mildly modded slushie equipped 328is. After exiting the Lincoln Tunnel we come up to that 55 cent toll heading north. We paid...no big deal..In the lanes immediately to our left and right was a black IS300 and a black Diamante. Both seemed to be *riced* out..exhausts, rims, dark tints, and body kits.

We accelerated normally, but these two decided to hammer it outta the gates. When they came up to the merge with 95 North they took up the far left and the far right lanes, leaving the middle open. So, with my cousin in the lead we came up the middle lane.

We were going at approx. 70 mph..when these two guys drastically slowed down...even with each other and now myself, playing 2nd to the E30.

Driver to my right (diamante) rolls down his window and looked to be on the phone with the passenger of the IS to my left...window cracked down at the same time....

Now I don't like being in the middle of a sandwich so I started to goose the gas a little just to get outta the way. They matched my speed...

I slow down...they matched my speed....

By this time, my cousin prolly noticed what was happening behind him and he slowed and pulled into the slow lane.

After he did this, seeing my hole...I stomped it..Now being a slushie..there was that *pause* as the tranny attempts to kick down...But when it did...

Diamante..didn't bother...IS? Tried to close gap (maybe 3-4 car lengths) but couldn't do it...what was truly funny was what his face would've looked like when my cousins stealthy boring E30 cauught up to us....passed him....and pulled aside with seeming ease...we both looked over at each other and smiled.....as we pulled away from both of those two jokers...

We finally shut down at about the Vince Lombardi rest stop area...that was at about 130mph when we stopped...the Diamante and IS300 were two *eeeny weenie* specks in the rearview...

This was at about 2:30 am...so absolutely NO traffic.
