View Full Version : 94 325i vs. Lancer Evo (HUGE UPSET!)

About 2-3 miles away from my house, I pull up to a stop light, to my left is an unmistakable Lancer Evo. This girl is driving with her boyfriend riding shotgun.

Light goes green, she launches pretty good, Hear the turbo spooling, Yep, it's an Evo.. As if the 2 car length lead before I hit 2nd gear wasn't proof enough.

Then she seemingly shifts into 3rd (or attempts to) prematurely, I hear what sounds like A LOT of grinding. Sounded like someone missed a gear...and the grinding continued as I passed them redlining second and going into 3rd. I take it up to 70 for safe measures and they turn off and limp home.

This chick could have easily taken about 4,000 miles off of the life expectancy of that clutch, it almost broke my heart hearing it...until I zipped past them.

Yes I'm well aware of what a competent driver would have done to me in that car, but that's street racing and the 325i prevailed.

:freak :mdrbig bwahahaha!

I don't think the clutch would be effected by her grinding the gears.

Exactly. The clutch should be the least of her worries...

Nice job...

The 325i's will kill everything and anything, especially my 15 year old automatic which has never lost ever to anything

Either you're lucky or you only race Civics with your e30.

As for the girl, that shit blows.... given her misshift, I would probably assume the car isnt hers.... probably her boyfriend..... or maybe ex-bf now?

Wow, good job man. See sometimes it pays off not to quit. You still won, it doesn't matter whether the girl made a huge mistake or not, a win is a win :) Those Lancer's can really move huh?

How many of you would actually let your gf drive the car? Oh wait, I don't have a gf to not let drive my car.

I would, but she doesn't want to. She is afraid I would yell at her if she ever did something stupid like that. Oh well :)

A win's a win.

On another note, my Evo8 hates to be shifted fast. I've struggled with 1 - 2 shifts a few times. My race car (Talon), goes into gear without a fuss all the time :) Same with the GVR4.

There's a $30 solution for that problem. Pick your poison:

1) Penzoil Syncromesh
2) GM Syncromesh
3) BG Syncroshift I

Her boyfriend probably choke f*cked her that night. And he probably performed every sick sexual degredation on the bitch. Roman helmets, dirty sanchez's, donkey punches, etc.
