whenever i put a cd in, and go to the cd changer wtih the radio, it spits the disk out imediately and says 'disk read error'. it like physically shoots the magzine out from the back, i can hear it hit the shield.

what is the deal? ive tried known good cds and it still does this

i took it out, there are no cds stuck in it. also the black wire that goes to it, i dont know if it is plugged into the other black wire the right way. there is like a little silver clip that doesnt seem to be right. i dont really know, i should probably have thi slooked at, i dont know jack about audio.

the fuse on the changer is good btw.

i think its because the cd's no good.. or maybe the cd changer doesnt support burned cd's..

is it a burned cd or is it one that u purchased from the store


EDIT: sorry i didnt read ur whole post.. sounds like i was wrong, and in that case- ive got no clue

it is a store bought cd.

took the entire thing apart, took a while. cd was stuck in the player, couldnt even see it until i twas all apart.

runs great now! !!!
