Ok I just stole an Alpine CDA-7892 Cd player from my brothers car and i was thinking of putting it in my E36. I hear all this stuff about the CD changer in E36's are made by alpine so does that necessarily mean that this CD player will work in conjunction with the CD changer? Any kind of help would be appreciated. Thanks

If the answer is no. My question is then why is everyone so quick to switch from factory to an Alpine headunit. Better sound quality? Please excuse me....im a noob to sound equip.
