Im currently in the market to purchase a Z4 and have exchanged with Kelly BMW in Columbus Ohio. The quote was 53,000.00USD. Far outside reality.

My only flexibility is in the color and will only be interested in Black Metallic or Gun Metal Grey.

ANy recommendtaions or lessons learned from your purchases? Things to look out for?

I bought mine last summer, so it's an '03. Has everything you listed minus the wood trim and nav. Plus it has power top. Payed way less than $53K and a nav system doesn't come close to the difference.

Consider heated seats, very handy
be sure you see the wood in the color you are going to get, my original order had wood and when I saw a Jet Black in wood and alum, the alum was much more appropriate (IMO)
Consider prem stereo, it is a good system and you'll want the extra power at 60+ with the top down
