A group of us from Columbus and Dayton drove down the the May Cinci CCA meeting last year. It was a great time! Excellent collection of cars (including an M1 and S52 powered E30 M3), great food and friendly people! :redspot

This year it is on May 12th at 7:00 at Just BMW in Cinci. Len recommends to be there earlier to get a good parking spot. (This may also be the annual chili contest).

Some of us may again drive down in the afternoon to see more of Cinci and avoid some of the traffic. Post here if you are interested in driving down from Columbus. Some of you students may be able to head down early. :)

I am leaving for Florida the next day, but I will be there, even if just for a little while. I do have to give all of you a warning! That entire area is under construction, and it makes it a little tougher to get in and out of JUST BMW, also the Dust and dirt is so bad that your car will be covered in a dust by the time you leave. It should still be fun, but thought I would give everyone a heads up. They might have Red Bank repaved by then, so atleast the road won't be as bad. Right now when I drive down the road I have to Dodge the man hole covers. See everyone in a couple of weeks!

Our cars got dirty last year because of the rain. Still a good time. Looking foward to it. :redspot

I will probably show up with my car for a little bit. Havent been to a club meeting in a while. Red Bank is a mess...when I was there two weekends ago they had repaved part of it (from 71 to Erie Ave) but the part bny Just BMW was still a mess. Just be careful and keep good seperation cus of manhole covers etc...watch the RR tracks too. Who else will be there so I know who to look for.

There were at least 70 people at the event last year. It is the best event they have (so I have been told). (My pictures did not do justice, too busy talking and eating to take pictures).

Do you know anyone in Dayton? Mike (SC M Coupe), Renee (Z3) and some others are driving down from there.

Only an hours drive, it is worth it. :)

I don't know anyone in Dayton. I went to Dent Fest/Dyno Day last year in Columbus.

What are the times for this event?

Come up to Columbus for the CCA meeting tomorrow night at Auto Assets in Powell.

There will also be the All German car shows on 7/31 and 8/22, both in Columbus. Caravan up with DJ and some other Cinci guys. :cool:
