Hello my future Mini Owner brothers and sisters. I have a question, does the mini have an excessive road noise in the interior of the vehicle? Consumer Reports that it is too much for the quality of the car. SO I want to know if it is and if so how bad is it? Compared to what other vehicle? My MCS is pretty quiet for such a small car. Not much wind noise at all. Exhaust is hardly noticeable. The run flats are pretty noisy, though.

My husband's Cooper is not excessively noisy. It's quieter than other compact cars I've been in (Chevy Cavalier, Ford Escort, Dodge Neon).

I've certainly never noticed any noise to a point where it was annoying. Obviously my car is louder than my moms e39 and whatnot, but comparable cars seem to have just as much if not more noise. :dunno

Yeah, dump the run-flats at the first chance. I'm running Yoko AVS 100es and they work really well on the street.
