Drift Atlanta is going on all weekend, but I thought I'd set up a list of those that are attending on Sunday.

Tickets are $25 for the whole weekend, or $20 for Sunday only, payable at the gate.

The first event on Sunday is qualifying for the Mazda Speed Cup at 8:00, which I plan on attending. The first "real" event is the Mazda Speed Cup race at 12:00 pm followed by a series of races up to 5:20 pm, with the SCCA Pro-IT race (what I'm more interested in, really) at 2:45.

Hey guys. We need a couple of flag girls for the races this weekend. If you guys have any hot female friends (need pictures to verify ;-)) then I can get you guys in for free for the weekend. We currently have at least two taht will be there and I know we will need at least one more. All they have to do is wear black pants, we give them a shirt to wear, and hold flag for us during the starting ceremony. We will have an A/C cooled motorhome there they can change into their clothes if they don't want to wear them to the track. Just let me know what you guys can do.

yeah your probably right, where do you usually watch from? I know at big stuff turn 1 wall is good pic spot and turn 12 is good to sit and spectator hill puts you right with your car

Not sure what we will be doing. Best thing is to come by our rig there in the paddock area and check things out. Any of you guys come by as I would like to meet yall at some point. I will also try to get out and come hang out with yall some.

I can't believe that no one has mentioned anything about the Speed WC touring race. As far as I'm concerned that will probably be the best event there. Then of course the drifting. And we should all sit on the big terraced area with all the concrete bench things (don't know what turn it is).... Geordie might have said it.... 10 maybe...... anyhow. I went to the Petite LeMans and Speed WC last year there and it's definetly the best place to sit. (offers the longest viewing of the cars)

Sucks tho cuz today my freakin' Pioneer brain has been giving me the fits today (of course, 1 day before a show!) and without tearing the whole trunk apart, I'm afraid probably no sound to hear on Sunday :jedicryin We tried tonight, but it comes on/off when you go over bumps and rough road...There's either a damn relay f-ed up cuz you can hear it clickin, or the Pioneer brain is acting up..
Either way, the show isn't judging sound, so should be ok, but sucks if you guys stop by and can't hear it..

RA was well worth the 25 bucks for the ticket, some of the drifting cars and obviously GIRLS were very........ :) very nice, especially the "Bending Blonde" front of us...

Through an "unfortunate" circumstance, I was down at the Atlanta Motor Speedway parking lot on Friday while the Mopar Dodge Viper (Competition Coupe) had rented one of the parking lots out for practice for the drift contest this weekend. I am curious to know how the team did in the competition.

By the way, the team had $20k in yokahama AVS Sport tires to work with. A set of 235/35 19 on the rear of the car lasted about 8 minutes in the parking lot.

the viper was insane! that thing had a golf cart full of tires and was soking them @ 60+ mph hard, The viper and the new GTO driven by reece millen did well i thought...

The Mopar Viper won the event. Sam Hubinette drove the wheels off that viper. In his tandem competitions, he was passing people at full drift on the inside and outside of that horseshoe. It was crazy!

Believe it or not, Rhys Millen didn't make the Sweet 16 and therefore didn't qualify for Sunday's competition.

The old school AE86's were really competitve too. They drove great.

The mopar viper will be at Laguna Seca this weekend for another drift event. The next one after that is Formula Drift in Houston in June. Peace,
