I am moving back to the foothills in prolly june-july. Im not sure what car I will bring(either e30 auto-xer or Lexus 2jz swap). I hope to meet real bimmer people. The value of homes in Tempe just keeps going up, definitely not a bad place to buy.

I do my own work although i work at a performance shop here in Jerz so I have help. Due to financial problems I will not be doing either of the above mentioned projects. I will eventually in az pursue one of them. Dont hate me but I will bring my current car a Civic hatchback. Yes yes ANOTHER honda. Its tastefully done I believe. Stock white with 15 inch Volks. JDM Integra Type-R swap. I have beaten STi's with it so its not the typical ricebox you see in Az. No system, lights, graphics, or body kits or wings. Just speed! You notice me as the guy who brings a civic to BMW meets and rarley goes to honda meets

I'll be going with him to Texas in a couple weeks to go pick up a 2000 Integra Type-R, should be a lot of fun.

Houses on Elliot & Mclintock- Great if you buy south of the canal.
When I bought, I called the Tempe Police dept. for crime stats by beat. Give it a try before you buy.
My subdivision is great- No HOA to annoy you, and the homes are just expensive enough to keep out people who will trash the place. A lot for sale right now.

Nice to see real enthusiasts instead of ur typical "hondas suck no matter what" I should be in Az around July 10th. Anyone know of any 1 bedroom apts around tempe/phoenix(by asu or any decent area) that go for a reasonable price. less than 550-500 or prferably less a month? Any meets goin on in July or after. Anyone know of any decent performance shops looking to hire someone with experience. I work at Phase2 Autosport in Randolph NJ. We built the fastest Civic Si(new bus looking one) in the country. Anyone know anything about Superior racing development? If they are anygood? Any good bimmer shops around the area? tons of questions yes but havent been to any shop in az that wasnt all about Supras in Az. Taking my lil civic to the track soon. Ran a 13.5 last time and should better it with some slicks and more tuning. So its not the regualr fart can aluminum wing honda that i have seen in the area. Thanks and hope to see you guys soon.

Glad to hear that you're coming. Regarding find a place to live, I own a house in Tempe, it's approximately 15 minutes from ASU, I go there, so the longest it has ever taken me to get there is 15 minutes.

I currently have two bedrooms available. It's a 4 bedroom house with myself and Crazy Dave living in it. I am looking for 2 other roommates. Assuming you're a good guy and not an asshole of a roommate (I've had some bad ones). The cost is 550 a month, but utilities are included and you also get Cox high speed internet in that price as well.

Chances are you won't find a better deal than that, but I'm pretty selective in my roommates. If you ever use AOL instant messenger, give me a buzz some time and we can talk, if you're interested that is.

Sounds good but im looking just for a 1 bedroom for that price because i will actually be splitting it. Money is the issue. Im not a stingy money hog. Its just nice knowing i have money for rent and bills already paid for (i got savings) my friend needs cheap rent cuz he is limited on funds but if he flakes off i'll check ur place. I get the bedroom and he gets the living room i. depending on his situation when i get there and how good mine is( with money) i might consider you offer. SRD is a pretty nice place, they pretty much specialize in Honda's but do work on a lot of cars, they do all the work on my that I don't do myself. They have a EK hatch with a turbo'd h22 engine swap running 10's and all the people are pretty nice there...Apex motorsports is another place, but I'm not a big fan of there's they don't seem as professional as SRD...just my opinion...

apex is awesome, ben is a great guy. i used to be into hondas myself. if you ever need a hand with anything honda related, lmk. done quite a few swaps etc..

As of moday I will no longer have my lil ol' civic(Im makin a $2000 profit on it too) So when ever u guys see me I will be in a M50 e30 hopefully. :) The guy buyin my car is also hookin me up with an e30 for dirt cheap. Anyone have suspension set up ideas for it? I also need to choose a color, im partial to the white and silver but will settle for black. No bright colors like blue or red. Cris keep a room available to me man or else im livin with my friend and his mom. :help Im gonna miss dirty jersey. Any meets goin on soon?

Not that it matters since this thread is pretty much dead, my move to Az has been delayed to January :rolleyes: because my Civic is being sponsored. :D So when I get there I will be in a 12sec allmotor street car(if you know Hondas thats quick all motor) Maybe when I get there the gas prices might have dropped. I currently pay 2.16 for premium. I be taking a trip too Az in the fall then to Vegas for Sema and the Supra Shootout. See ya when ever
