I'm driving out of my neighborhood yesterday night and pass my next door neighbor who is driving in the other direction, towards his house. He is an exec at a rap label and has a white H2 on 22s (at least). There are ALWAYS nice cars next door. 7s, S-Classes, old American classics, etc. Anyway, we pass while we are on a corner and take a guess what his friend is driving behind him - a bright yellow brand new Ferrari. I slow down from 25 to maybe 5, scream "HOLY SHIT" and follow the car with my eyes the entire time.

Later, I pull into the Phipps ground-level entrance by Niketown and see the an older black bimmer sticking out slightly farther than most of the other cars in the aisle. I'm intrigued. I don't turn into that aisle because it's being blocked by some guy pulling out of his spot and another guy behind him waiting for the spot. Instead I take a right down the next aisle, circle around, and get this - the guy who parked next to the bimmer was pulling out! Flick on my turn signal, wait for the spot, pull in, get out. Walking around the car I do a full 360 - it's a black 3.0 CSI in PERFECT exterior condition. Oh my god. It had not a single scratch and literally looked like it was made yesterday.

I need a digital camera NOW.

What's the coolest car you've parked next to / seen recently?

There was a Caterham at the autocross Friday, that thing was cool as hell and it had the most insane handling ever. Very impressive.

I was eating at a little Italian restaurant in Bethesda, MD this week and the owner pulled up in a brand new black Ferrari 612 Pininfarina. My Gawd what a beautiful piece of rolling sculpture......

The sound from the exhaust sounded like a symphony.....almost had a musical quality to it....I've never heard anything with the exception of the Modena 360 that sounds nearly as cool. Makes all the conversations about who makes the best E36 exhaust seem so ridiculous...who are we trying to fool? Nothing sounds a cool as nasty "voice" of a Ferrari....

I have seen that Enzo in Alpharetta on the showroom floor at Ferrari of ATL. Damn........

I agree with you on that one, WytLytnyn. I don't know enough about Ferrari's models to know what car I saw, but the sound of the exhaust was incredible.

That has always been one of the trademarks of Ferraris -- exhaust notes to die for.

I was at Ferrari the other day killing some time and I was just walking around and a new 575M pulls up....at idle the sound of the exhaust nearly made me cream my pants...then he left and the sound was even more incredible.

Whats the quickest way to make $250k? hahaha
