Name of the thread says a lot. But also include when you are getting into SB (Fri or Sat) and whether you are spending the night as well (and where you're staying if you wish). It would be cool to make sure that we have ALL 11 (yup, record books here we come!) e21 people hanging out together afterwards....if we're all staying.

BTW Matthew....I have very few mods on my car too. Wheels and stereo stuff are going to be about it, other than the interior 'job'. I'm stripping everything in the back, swapping in 320is seats, and changing the front door panels from blue to black (thanks to the dead 320is donor car that had black interior). Other than that, I won't have time for anything else before the end of the month, except for maybe some OTHER weight savings things (front bumper and AC).

hehe, yeah, i was informed that half will be in my category, and then there's the show E21's (CJ + attila) .. i wont be too far behind where i want to be if i can net a set of euro bumpers.

That's the POINT!!!! I know the e46 guys are turning this event into a "My mods newer than YOUR mod!" contest, but that's not what it's about. We are going to be there with other people, not to show off what cosmetic-only mod we've done to impress people.

Granted some of us (myself included) have to make some points out on the road (older cars CAN go fast too), but that's a different story, and a matter of driving style. As long as everbody is having fun and nobody gets hurt, it's all good.

My e21 MAY get clay bar'd before then, maybe not. If not, it will still be a rough car, esp since the looks don't matter as much to me (who needs a full interior????). But good running is GOOD!

dam those mechnical engineering students! lol....but seriously, school's gotta be the #1 priority (espeically for engineering students who are realllllly close to finally finishing up their degree....so they can start rolling in the cash & build one of the craziest bmw's ever once they graduate :cool: ).

8 more days till Bimmerfest (1 more day till the AZ dyno day....see what kind of #'s this ancient m10 beast puts out)....and i've got one last mod to do next week :D (wheel studs + 15" superlites wrapped in Yokohama AVS ES100's)

also, here's a general bimmerfest update: you can now download a Bimmerfest V -- Vehicle ID Card/Placard (http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/showthread.php?t=58779) to put on the window or pass out to people at the show. besides displaying what year & model the car is, you can list the options & the modifications done to your car.

Instead of making another thread, we shold use this one to Figure out where we all are going to meet in the AM so we can park together.. they said it will be parking on a first come basis, which means they will tell you where to park i guess. as it fills up that's where you will have to go. I think all us people staying at motel 6/sandmann/BW should pick a time to meet up in the am, like 7AM and snag a quick breakfast at a joint, and head over, so we have a good chance of all of us parking together.

there's 6 of us on this thread that are confirmed, and there's 13 E21's by the latest bfest tally. I feel it's important for all of us to park next to each other. i know i will spend most of the time in our section, and then do a little walking around to check out the dj's and check out all the freebies and contests.

They say the WILL NOT, let anyone in B4 9 byt for some reason, I dont think thats true. I say we meet at Sandmann Inn (doug) (since that where most of the E21's will be) and then leave at 8:30 and see if they are letting people in. Now for the parking, if we stay in a nice row we will be fine, even if there is a car in the middle we can ask that person to move ahead. I'm not sure who the other E21er's are but I hope they find this thread or others regarding E21' :redspot

Should work....at least to kep those of us HERE together. We can talk about all of this on Friday night. I'm probably not going to be able to get out of SD before 1pm, so I will miss all of you in LA. But since the Sandman Inn is 2 blocks from the Motel 6 that myself (and a bunch of the e30 people) are staying at, we'll run into you all at SOME point in the evening. Besides, I have Atilla's Cell # still....

Im sure we're all going to hang out at the hotel parking lot and talk it up about cars till we get asked to go inside. then i assume we will get the partying on... anyone bringing a boom box? i'll supply the trance!

Most of you don't know me, although Doug does, seeing as how ive been his right hand man for all of the prep on his E21 this week... I personally drive an E28 that i just got a few weeks ago, and wasn't planning on going to bimmerfest untill this morning when an E28 buddy of mine (who also owns like 6 other bimmers, including a full euro 323) gave me a ring... Apparently his full euro E28 M5 is still in the paint shop, but he just bought an e46 M3 vert thats going to be in the Crevier booth, and wants me to drive up the E21... So, look for me... i'll be there in the full euro 323 with Epsilon wheels, a nice exhaust, and a e30 325 motor in it... Doug said many of you are meeting to drive in together, and i'll be in touch with Doug to try and see if i can get up there so i too can drive in with you guys... See ya'll up there...

And to be more specific, it is a M20B25 'i' motor out of an e30. The car is suppose to scream, according to the mechanic that built it. He sold it to one of his customers (Echo's e28 friend), but that guy has never even needed to take it to redline! I've seen this car in person, you all aren't gonna wanna miss this. I'm hoping we can wait around at the hotel until he can get up to SB to meet us, then all roll in together. If not, we should REALLY try and save him a spot and get him directed to us once he gets in the gate.

Nice to hear that! Cant wait to see the 323i. If you want to roll with us I would highly suggest you get to us by 8:00am just to be safe, I know there is this guy Max on a dif forum that will be doing this. Hope to see you there.

Well, im planning on leaving san diego at 4:30 to 4:45 in the E28... then i have to pick up the E21 in Newport, and finally, straight up to SB... Im meating doug at his hotel when i get up there and then we are gonna cruise over to your guy's hotel whenever i get there... So, see ya'll up there!!! Im soooooo excited!!!
