View Full Version : Virginia area meet (supercharged E46 M3)
Prestige329i 04-15-2004, 09:38 AM AA is going to be coming up to the VA area during the month May for Techfest. I was wondering if anyone would like to set up a meet / gathering. We will be bringing the E46 Supercharged M3. This is for all of those that would like to see how the kit looks on the vehicle, hear it, (possible) test rides, questions, etc. Since we are coming from Miami it would be very difficult for us to create a meet since we do not know the area. Is there anyone in this area that would like to get the word out and possibly set something up. Techfest is going to be held in Reston, VA 20190. The car would be available on Sunday May 16th. Please let me know who is willing to set something up and give me the details please (location, time, etc). Once all these things have been determined, we will be posting it on our website and other forums as well.

George! You can ask them questions about your AA Stage II setup in person!!! :buttrock
Cabby 04-15-2004, 10:13 AM We can organize something for you, we hold meets every week. Check out www.eastcoastbmw.net and PM me, let's talk.
Prestige329i 04-15-2004, 11:07 AM I am talking to Pat at Pro-Imports to see if we can possibly keep a meet at his facility. This way its more organized and its not just in a shopping plaza. Let me know who would be willing to come

Is the supercharged E46 a twin-screw? If so, I'd be interested in checking out the setup.

Prestige-please correct me if I am wrong, but I don't think it is a twin screw s/c.
clintjg 04-15-2004, 12:34 PM S-54 SC?!? I'm there!
John V 04-15-2004, 12:49 PM Yeah, Jed, I didn't think it was a twin-screw, but I thought I'd ask. Centrifugal superchargers are just a waste of money.
Mikey52 04-15-2004, 12:51 PM It's a bigger version of their Rotrex, I believe.
LandShark 04-15-2004, 02:09 PM I'll sure be there!!!! ;)
Blade929 04-15-2004, 03:16 PM I'm interested
Sounds like a good idea.....especially for us running the AA S/C
Whats even better is if you guys could find a dyno and run local AA S/C cars to see how things are running and maybe some custom tuning ??
Jeff

Custom tuning....me like that idea :D
NoSoup4U 04-16-2004, 07:26 AM Yeah, Karl has been promising for months to come up and visit Pat's! I need a custom chip as well ... I would be interested in the seeing that E46 M3 and taking a ride. Kev B. has glowing things to say about it! I'd also like to know/see if you will have STG. II ready at that point ....
Mark85 04-16-2004, 06:57 PM i'll definetely be there, reston is just down the road
