But now I am stuck. In order to get the cover off you have to remove the alternator bracket. Unfortunatly I have an '81 so the lower part or the bracket has a bolt right behind the oil filter housing. So I went to take off the oil filter housing to access the bolt. But unfortunatly the oil filter housing has a bolt that is covered by the AFM assembly. Am I just diggin myself into a bigger hole here or do I really have toi remove the AFM to get the oil filter housing off? Do I even really have to remove the ALT. bracket to remove the timing cover? Thanks guys! :buttrock
