A friend of mine is looking at a 95 Blk/Blk M3 with 116k on it. I talkd to the guy on the phone, tells me that about 3yrs ago he got into an accendent with it, he backed into a wall going about 30-35mph, which I thought was kinda fast. Anyways he tells me that it did some damage including some to the frame. He said he was all fixed when it happend, and has been fine for the rest of the time hes had it about 3yrs. My friend is really intrested in this car, but it makes me werry with the talk about frame damage. Does anyone know of a place in Cincinnati were we could take this car to be checked out and make sure everything is on the up and up? Thanks for your time,

Joseph

Just BMW on Red Bank road, would probably be a good place to have him take it. Phone number 513-271-5878.

We went to BMW CCA meeting at Just BMW last year, I would trust them.

The story sounds strange. I would be leary of that car unless it is dirt cheap. There are plenty of nice '95 M3s to be found.

Hey thanks for the info. I am kinda learly as well, the car is not dirt cheap the guy is asking $14 for it. I figured we could get him down to at least $12, other wise my friend probly wouldnt want to buy it. Thanks for the inmput.

Wow, that is fast to be backing up. Will the reverse gear even let you get up to that speed, or was he spinning out and hit A$$ end first into the wall? $14K does seem too high for a car that had quite a bit of damage at one time. I would think around $11 or $11.5
