View Full Version : Pictures of new car
alfatech 04-09-2004, 02:04 PM Well I picked up the new ride tuesday night with 40miles on the odometer.... She is
2004 Subaru WRX
2.0L boxer turbo (duh)
AWD (duh)
Mods:
-Subaru Short Shift
-Subaru STI Titanium Shift Knob
-Subaru Boost Guage (steering column mounted)
Anyone know where I could get a good deal on some RO_JA's (fomula 7 or formula 5 18s, 5x100) or a B&B (billy boat) Triflo turbo-back exhaust?

Experimental M3 04-09-2004, 02:21 PM Nice! I love that Subaru blue. Can't help you on finding the parts, but you might check out the WRX forums. I'm sure those guys know how to get hooked up. If you look long and hard enough, you will find a deal.

haha yeah its on its way off.... I only asked about the RO_JA's here because I know a few guys... Dean, Ryan have em and I had a B&B on my old m3 and I think Ali has one too? anyway she's a work in progress give her time :)
BimmerKat 04-09-2004, 02:35 PM Nice car Ryan! :buttrock
I must say that IMO that is a much better choice than the MB hatch!
Seth Thomas 04-09-2004, 02:50 PM Nice Ride. If you want any parts for the car call George at Boost Solutions
http://www.boost-solutions.com
Very nice guy that Wasted and I have bought parts from.
tony(topaz,SMG) 04-09-2004, 04:32 PM Nice! That blue is even nicer than my Topaz. Is it just the angle or are the driver's side doors a different color than the fender?
alfatech 04-09-2004, 05:14 PM Seth... thanks for the tip on boost-solutions... Their site is horrible and half their links don't work :( maybe I could trade them a decent shopping cart setup / hosting for a discount on some parts.
BimmerDawg 04-09-2004, 06:21 PM That cars owns the Chrysler you were considering.
greateratlanta 04-10-2004, 03:50 AM PLEASE LOWER IT!!!!!!!!
I could live inside your fenders. Other than that, it's a great car! :)
Scott528iM 04-10-2004, 09:49 AM Sweet ride. Those things are a blast to drive. I friend of mine is very close to closing the deal on an STI from Gwinnett Subie and mentioned that there's a fella up there that's the SHEEOT with these cars in terms of mods, maint, etc. If you'd like I can try to get his name/number.
Congrats!
VANCE 04-10-2004, 10:21 AM Looks Good!

Can someone tell me what's up with the shift knob? I don't know much about these cars but that thing looks anything but ergonomic!

steved033 04-10-2004, 05:49 PM the guy to talk to is out my way in snellville.
Eric at AirborneMotorsports...he's got his own exhaust that's built locally for him...it's the SWEEEEETEST sounding thing ever. it's available as a turbo back with a little tiny random tech cat in it...(hint on who builds them)
give him a call...he's a great guy, and can get damn near anything. 678-234-2162
hang out on NASIOC...SE forum...i'm steve_d there...and totally old skool...50k members....I'm number 315.
sjd
ex 98 Subaru RS...sold for the Ti.
on an unrelated topic, Mark, I was talking about the Dinan mods to your car, did you feel a significant gain from them? Care to run it sometime (just friendly, want to see how my car stocks up to a modified e46 m3 as i've only ran stock/close to stock ones)
thanks
Oh yeah, congrats on your car. Not a big fan of the regular wrx, but those STI's are sure nice :D
