Renee M Coupe 04-05-2004, 09:24 PM Joe,
Have not seen you in a while. Ready for another Hocking Hills drive?? There will be one the weekend of July 9th. Details are not final yet.
Post your dyno results. :)
Saloon 04-07-2004, 10:00 AM Hey Renee,
You guys find a NSX yet? Hope so I really wanna a ride :) I am totaly ready for another HH Drive, the last one was great! I will def. post my results, I am just looking to get another baseline, before I install a few UUC things. I was considering getting a AA Supercharger but I am still not sure, justifying the $$ is kinda hard on a car thats only driven less then 6months a yr.. But we'll see. Are you going to any of the further BMW events like Bimmerfest East, or Techfest? I am planning on going to as many events that I have time for, I am for sure going to those two, and hopfully most of the Mid-Ohio events as well. I think i am gonna try and crash some VW events too  Hey did you hear about the kid from NJ, conning MAG out of that 760? Alright, if you would please keep me posted on the NSX and any other events that you hear about.

Renee M Coupe 04-07-2004, 10:32 AM Joe,
Hi. No NSX yet. We looked at a few used ones at dealers, but they would not let us test drive them. (Another local dealer let us take out an '04 996 C4 and an '01 996 TT without coming with us. Wish all dealers were like that). He bought an FX45 in December and is thinking about what to get next.
I a sold my VW and now looking for a Subaru. I will go to the Midwest Massiv VW event. It is going to be huge!
Midwest Massiv (http://www.massivshow.com/midwest/index.html)
I also want a AA S/C after driving Mike's Coupe. :evil2 If only the price was lower. :( What parts did you buy?
I am planning to do the Mid Ohio driving school in September. There are some other events to hit this summer.
I heard about the 760 scam. I can't believe that happened!
Matthew C Smith 04-08-2004, 08:51 AM I may stop by, I'm in Kent. It's just off 8 right? Back in a rental storage place?
Saloon 04-10-2004, 12:03 AM Hey Matt ya deffentely stop by & tell you friends too, any one you know, its not gonna be a huge thing but there should be a decient amount of ppl there. Ya its right in the storage bays, we will be there at 1. If you need any info feel free to call me @ 330-618-3001
Matthew C Smith 04-10-2004, 10:13 AM Yeah I'm not going to be able to make it. Wedding shower... (mine! ha!)
I'll drive by there, but before the event.
bimmer95 04-10-2004, 06:41 PM Sooooo, how'd it do Joe?
Saloon 04-12-2004, 11:14 PM Hey guys Sat. went good, I dyno'd 236whp and 240qwtq!!! Which I thought was pretty good considering I only have a DINAN exhaust/STG II chip, and a k&N intake for my engine mods. No other BMW's were able to make it out, but it was still a good time. The best part was shooting video on the way there and on the way back :D
Chris,
I got the parts yeasterday, everyhing looks great! Now all I need to do is get them all on there. If you could please PM or call me with the price of the At. pully if you would, I think i might want it just so they all match, but I dont know. PS Do you know the best place to get the rear euro tailights OEM or at least oem quality, and I need AGAIN front clear corner as i just trusted that this time "#4" they would stay in place, ya dumb idea, lost another set. But this time I WILL zip tie them in at min. OK well like i said everything looks great, thanks again,
Joseph
bimmer95 04-12-2004, 11:27 PM The matching alt pulley is $25 shipped, I should have a couple in stock in a week or so. CircleBMW.com used to have the OE BMW Euro lenses listed on their site, but they've taken them down, you might try giving them a call or PacificBMW.com
Saloon 04-12-2004, 11:32 PM Ok cool, what are your thoughts on those numbers. Good? Too high, too low? A gues on what the UUC stuff will do? Thanks,
Joseph
bimmer95 04-12-2004, 11:49 PM Seems a little on the high side.. was it a DynoJet? Were those SAE corrected or raw numbers?
Saloon 04-12-2004, 11:54 PM Yes it was on a dynojet. I am not sure what SAE is, but I would say that they are just raw numbers, they were the numbers that were on my print out. Chart said that my peek HP was @ 6??? rpm and peek TQ was @ somthin like 4000 rpm. I will try and scan it in somtime soon.
bimmer95 04-13-2004, 12:04 AM SAE correction takes in to account altitude, pressure and temperature so that dyno runs performed under different conditions are comparable.
Saloon 04-13-2004, 12:07 AM O ok, well I am not sure if they were running with that or not. So UI am gonna go with raw #'s I have haev dynod before on a protable dyno and I did 227whp and 236wtq, and I hadnt changed anything since that time except my air filter might be a little dirtier ;) Now the that was the first time i had dyno'd and it has been a little less then a yr ago.
bimmer95 04-13-2004, 08:41 AM Those sound a lot more normal... I'd guess that your SAE correction would be ~.98 on that, which you put your numbers back in line. If you get a chance, you should take a floppy disk over to the shop and have them copy your run data on to it, then you could download RunViewer from DynoJet's web site to print your own graphs and compare future runs.
