:help Just got a new M3 and she is a beauty. But, it seems the previous owner had one lapse of judgement. The paint is swirl city and has some small chips and scratches that need work.

So, anyone know of a kick ass detailer in the Chicago area? I live in a condo building without the proper facilities for handwashing/detailing. I am looking for someone to do the whole nine yards...Wash/dry, clay, polish, etc. Exterior only. I will not trust my baby to just anyone who calls themselves "detailers" as there are a lot of "Armor all everything" joints around that will ruin her.

Any good recommendations will be greatly appreciated (and rewarded with some great pics posted!)

Thanks

Bar none--Emmons in Villa Park. Will we be seeing the M at any Windy City events?

Kyle,
I hope so! I have to renew my membership as I let it lapse. Will Emmons take the time to talk to me about how to care for the finish and give me some quick technique tips? I really need some show and tell to get me started. I just put the M contours back on for the summer....Once she gets shiny she will be hard to match.

Anyone else have any experience with Emmons?

I am about to buy a used M3 in need of a detail. I know nothing of detailing (more of an Armorall guy!). I found Emmons by way of this forum. I stopped there the other day. Nice place, but small detail area. Dave, the detailer talked for a long time with me. The thing that was strangest to me, after following this forum for awhile, was that he does not PC the cars. He believes in only useing Zymol HD cleaner then waxing with Zymol. No buffing, no sealer glaze. He uses Leatherique products on the leather.
