anyone likes to do this?
I hate it, is too time consuming and a lot a work involved. I'm asking because I have a problem with my low beams, I had a smelting and had to replace the socket due to higher power bulbs.....
I purchased new Hella euro headlights and new Hella H4 bulbs (55/60 watts), changed the sockets but there is still no lights. The relay clicks so there is power, high beams work.
I may have to change a wire leading to the fuse box.

Now my question: how do you remove or lift the fuse box, so I can inspect the wire connections underneath?

Thanks for your help GJ, I found the cause of my gremlins. I used a voltmeter to check for voltage at the socket, and at the fuse box. The wire that goes from the fuses to each low beam was dead (literally)due to corrosion inside..... I put a new wire and cleaned all the connections, now they work beatifully.

P.S: I may still take that offer for when I get another problem, thanks again GJ
