Anyone know of a good place?

CLK430 needs a decent pre-purchase going over.

Thanks in advance!

Count,

Try Stephen's Garage; ask for Steve. He specializes in German cars.

2417 1st Ave North, 326-4542.

My vote: Oxmoor Automotive - Ask for Russ Hepp - He's my main Wrench. Just did my clutch. 205-942-4141

He does Volvo- Bmw and Mercedes. Very ethical and Nice guy-

Hey Lemmi - Call me - 205-903-5512 -- we ought to get together for drinks/little drive - (I took Grant's Mill down to 119 the other night - I want to get fast on it; really twisty..)

I heard that Munich Sport has a good reputation.

Grant's Mill is awesome no doubt, needs to be paved though. You've got to know where the bumps are to go really fast.

I've spoken with guys over at Munich and they seemed extremely knowledgble and out to earn your business not rip you off!!!

Just moved here from Atlanta Whats going on in the Ham as far as BMW stuff?

I know we've got Barber but what else?

Thanks,

Sam

Oh, you know the dangerous curves you were talking about :stickoutt

I'm thinking to a hard and fast drive on the roads (if the cars are up for it). Truth be told, I would absolutely love to be in the M6 when it kills some unsuspecting prey item! :evil2

C:\Mr. Burns

"Excellent!!"

C:\ end Mr. Burns

Although - truth be told - Tim's M3 is probably an overall faster car (and if he turbo's :devillook :buttrock that p-car; it'd probably run quicker too)

But the M6 is such a classic... :D

Truth be told, I'll likely get all of my "need for speed" at the track that weekend. I'm also running a bit scared of high-speed runs on Grants Mill and Sicard Hollow due to the large number of deer. I month or so ago I just about nailed one at over 100mph; needless to say I just about crapped myself.

The 924S will remain pretty much stock on the engine. It's a relatively high compression engine (10.2:1) that doesn't take well to FI without major mods. That doesn't mean that a 951 isn't in my future:thinkerg:

Man - I hear you can boost those 944 engines something fierce - i also hear they don't hold together too well under high boost - but still run like scalded dogs-

True - Deer/trees/bumpiness/blind curves make for an adrenaline filled grants mill run if at speed at all -

we'd need spotters around curves to really cut corners/times down-

I'm up for anything now that I'm in Birmingham. I've checked out Momentum in Riverchase and Munich in Pelham, both give me good vibes.
I'm looking to meet some of you guys in B'ham, you really having a party tonight?
