Crap! Late, and the professor locks the door at 8:00! Run, run! *tries to remind himself it's not good to run the car fast when it's still cold* Nouuu don't tell me the thermostat is broken  ...grrr..there go the plans for the suspension, gotta do that first. *light turns green* 2nd....3rd...stop grr why can't this go....what the.....nonono wrong day for this you do NOT want to try me today little civic. Oh...ok reving your engine sounds great... Fine, I have to go fast anyway. 3,500 rpms, whoa that's high...wait...turn asc of....*light turns green*
SO there we were, I was even for just a second until the asc got a grip on itself and then I was off, two car lengths in front, by the time I realized what happened, I was going 80 on Nobel Dr....with a 90 degree turn onto the onramp in about a 1/4 mile. The little white civic, props to him, was actually keeping up with me...somewhat....a few cl's behind, but still not bad for a 1.8l four cylinder with what looked like stock.
Then it happened, I of course turned the asc off as soon as possible, I came up to the turn and thisominous feeling crept over me....am i going too fast.... I looked down 4,500 rpms....but wait! Third or fourth!?! Third or fourth!?! Fourth! Noouuu, overcompensate, tires screeching, wheels break free, skid for 20 meters, at 45 degrees with the road, argh, slight shaky, recover...phew...that was ugly :D No...wait...is that....that damned civic is still there! Straight highway with some traffic, time to see how fast I can go those 6 miles to my offramp....
All in all, it was fun, I hit 120 because that civic just wouldn't stop buggin my rearview mirror. Turns out, he and I go to the same college, he gave me a big thumbs up when we parted, pretty cool. In summary, it took me 11 minutes to get to school instead of the usual 25 :evil2 , I got away alive, barely, but alive :D and I was on time to my class with 2 minutes to spare  *sets his clock for 15min earlier than usual*

....I tried to write first person to see what it would be like, I thought it would be cool, but I guess it's not being received well :embarrasm So the next one will be in third person again.

Coffee...hah, I don't drink coffee....Iced Chai! :D

so you were on Nobel and you were heading towards your school and it takes a usual 20 mins about...do you go to Mesa College... because from Nobel Dr. you don't need to take the freeway to get to UCSD...

I used to live around Mesa and attended UCSD...kinda backwards...

lol, I live at Nobel Court, which is right across the Hyatt Regency in La Jolla, if I went to UCSD, I would take La Jolla Village drive for two lights....yes I go to Mesa....talk about a modded car parking lot.

Ah yes, wonderful san diego. Heh i live in RB, and usually take camino del norte home, man i love goin 130mph on that street, usually piggies around but there is a nice stretch, sorta curves, but no lights, no lighting, and at night its a dream.

I was actually commin home on the 125/52/805 last night at around 2, and unlike in LA, there was NO ONE...I had a 30mile drive and I saw not a single car. I hit 135 for fun, and then decided that it was just a bit too creepy :stickoutt But yea, San Diego is great, and La Jolla is right in the middle of it all...my favorite spot to drive though is on a Thursday mid morning at Palomar mountain. Just you and maybe two other motorcycles, up and down the fast side of the mountain....my bmw considers it home.... :D

BTW, thanks for the support on the first person, for a second I thought absolutely no one enjoyed it...
