I have a scratch on my windshield that is deep enough that my wipers "skip" over it while it's raining. It wouldn't bother me very much if it wasn't right in my line of site but I have to look past it all the time. I have no idea how it got there but I was hoping there was some time of product that would fill it in. After closer inspection I noticed that my windshield is pretty worn out from all the road debris I guess so It wouldn't be a bad idea to clean the whole thing up if that's possible. Any direction on this would be very helpful.

You can try to polish it, but if it's that deep you're going to cause some distortion if you can polish it out. It might be better in the long run to just replace the windshield (cost is around $300 IIRC). Otherwise Rain-X the windshield and don't use the wipers :D
