Took out my 2002 stock auto 330xi out tonight and ran into my friend with a 02 acura rsx type s with exhaust and CAI.

Dead stop on some highway, first run:
I get the jump on him off the line (power braked to 2800 rpm and let go) and pulled about .5 CL ahead until 60 mph then about .75 CL to 80 and begin to slowly pull to 1 CL away to 100 mph.

Off the roll, 40 mph
3 honks and we both hit it and stay even to about 65 mph where i begin to pull slowly and stay that away until 100.

We pulled over and he was really suprised i took him to 100 mph, being that my car is 3500 pounds and an auto. More races to come.....

Ive seen stock RSX-S run 6.3, 15.0 so i was pretty impressed by my cars performance also....any idea what an auto 330xi runs 0-60 and 1/4 mile??

Just be glad he didn't have the hondata #4 program, the RSX-S's respond to mods very well. There are a bunch of guys on clubrsx running high 13's/14 flat @ 100 mph with just intake/hondata (ecu reflash, more aggressive fuel/timing and 8800 rpm redline)

Sorry i'm still a honda guy at heart, i had a 00 turbo civic before my M3

330xi's with auto's likely run high 14's/low 15's...

Hey dude,

I'm doing good the car is really clean, i did a detail on it last weekend with a pass of zymol and cleaned the interior. Got me some S100 wax today and i'm gonna wash and do another pass. So far i've ordered a RK2 shift knob from UUC (stock one is falling apart) and i'm debating on an intake/chip package.

Funny thing is a honda/acura friend that got a M3 referred me to this site, i really like it so far cause the people all seem really friendly.

Yeah these guys are friendly, plus you will pretty much learn ALOT esp in the e36 M3 tech forum. I know i have. Man im jealous that you already started your waxing and detailing. Man i havent even touched the interior of my ride yet. I even won a free detailing kit from this Porsche meet i went to and i still havent gotten around to detailing my car. oh wells. welcome aboard nonetheless.
