I'm constantly around the Miami / Ft.Lauderdale area. I was in Homestead Saturday, Hollywood today, going to Pompano tomorrow.

Yeah...it really sucks...all this week was my spring break and the only nice day was Sunday. Infact...the only night I went out was Friday because of the weather all week and it still ended up pouring. Oh well, back to FIU...

Dammit... it had to rain today didn't it? Just enough to mess up the car...

dont worry last week started pollen season up here and my car is yellow. it sucks so bad bc u cant wash ur car, as i was drying my baby i looked back at the parts that i had dried already i see pollen settling . then today it rained and now my car looks even worst.

Hah..... my car is more alpine white than schwarz. No lie in the last 2 days my car became more than 50% white. I'm taking a pic tomorrow to show :D

Business Administration...not very exciting. We used to meet up on thursdays at tropical park but that hasn't happened for some time now. Jrpaz was usually the organizer but lately no one has said much. Also...what has happened to the mms tuning meets.

doesnt mms tuning meet in like key biscayne or something? I dont really know anything about mms or mcp so im not sure but last i heard they met at key biscayne :dunno :ponder:

Yeah...they used to and they would to post on bf.c to make everyone aware, but i have not heard anything from them.

Havent been to MMS meets since June '03.....

My black e30 has seen more meets outside of Miami than inside :D... I'd be down for a Tropical Park meet though.... if anyone wants to set it up.

I'll take a rain check on Thursday. If you want to meet up Friday I'll be more than glad to. Ortega is giving me a dual enrollment test, one of the four which will be submitted as my grades for FIU. I failed one of them and got a 64 on the other one so I have to bust my ass off ( even more somehow ) and study for the test Friday.

By the way. Friday is the Drifting Competition in Hialeah Speedway. $5 bucks to watch @ 5pm.

MMS used to have meets in the downtown Miami area, but ever since they moved shop, they haven't had a meet. Maybe I'll talk to the people at Castle Motorsports and see if they want to set up another meet.

Friday nights we have the Towershops meets, so I'm always there.

I don't know anything about MCP... too many stickers for me.

Friday I'm going to the Miami Slide.... anyone wants to meet up there let me know. It's $5 for the spectator fee and it starts at 5pm.

Like Kevlar said, there are meets every FRI at Towers shops in Davie off 595 & University Dr.

I haven't heard of any recent meets down in Miami. :confused:

For now this tuesday am going karting with a friend to Mega-Racing . Anyone else wants in?. Is my first time but the idea seems fun. ^_^
$30 gets you a kart and helmet, for 5 min qualifying heat and 10 mins racing (the owner said it usually last like 15 mins)

School means your a kid? Not neccessarily, but statistically speaking, most who are in school are kids (ie low 20's).... Not always, I didn't finish my MBA until I was 33 or 34...

From north to south, business establishments are as follows...
Road House Grill, some seafood restaurant, Miami Subs, Arby's (hmm, was Arby's first or Miami SUbs??), and Chevron... No Old Navy there, LOL

You are right... but you aren't looking at the other end of the plaza.

The side you are talking about goes:

Roadhouse, Shells, Ale House, Arby's, Miami Subs, Taco Bell, Main Tower Shops Entrance, Chevron and Pep Boys.

However, there is another side to the plaza... on the other side of the car show where there are stores and shops and such.

That side goes Office Depot, TJ Maxx, Old Navy, something, and Home Depot.

If you draw a line from Arby's to Old Navy, you'll find me right in the middle.

From the South...

Take I95 or FL Turnpike to I595 west.
Take I595 west to University Drive.
Take University Drive South about a block.
You'll see the Towershops entrance on your left (east) side. Turn in there.

At the stop sign. Go straight.
At the 2nd stop sign, turn left.
Over two speed bumps (maybe three).
You should pay attention to the shops on your left (which are the fast food restaurants) and the shops on your right (the department stores).
When you see Old Navy on your right and Arby's on your left... you should see me or a bunch of MINIs...

Show starts about 6ish... I'm normally there by 5ish. By 6ish, parking spots start to become rare... by 7 they are non-existant and you'll have to park outside of the car show. With the new daylights savings time, these above times may vary.

:lol: I have never walked or looked at the stores back there :lol: They could've had a BMW dealership and would've never known :eyecrazy: . I have been going to the car show for over 5-6 years... never went back there.. to notice an Old Navy... LOL....

Our move to North Miami Beach is not the main reason of delaying our monthly meets. Since 2003 we have our show cars under construction so we were not able to plan any meets around Miami area but 1st of May there will be a meet of B.C.M and Everyone is invited:)
