I searched on this and looked on Mequiars website.

I bought the Meguairs 3 step process. My car is a 1992 with 220,000 miles and sits outside. I'm looking to see if the Ajax anti-bacterial dish soap would work for washing the car before I begin the 3 step process. I know in the 101 it spoke of using the Gold class wash. I'm checking to see if I can get away with not buying anything else. Also I have "Turtles Car soap with wax" already dunno if this would work.

Anyone know how long I should wait inbetween the 3 steps ? I've seen one day or down to just 30 mins.

If you plan on polishing afterwards it doesn't matter what type of soap you wash with first. I'd recommend using a regular car was soap since the polish will remove any of the wax and stuff sitting on the paint anyway.

Ok thanks I'll see if I can get this done all in one day.
