In your opinion and disregarding price, which is the best exhaust (sound and performance wise) for the BMW M3?

I recommend AA or Eisenmann, both of which are quality products.

Based on research on this forum and others, I bought an AA for my 04 M3 in a GB via M3motorwerks. Good price and fast service. Quality product.

But I have to say, for me, the exhaust is TOO LOUD and RICEY at low rpm. Above 3000 rpm or so it is great, but in the low rpm range it sounds like a Honda with one of those big bore exhausts.

Try the RD muffler, it has a nice deep sound with 7 WHP peak gain. It comes with 90 mm tips

I think it depends. I think the best sounding exhaust out there is the Eisenmann Meisterschaft.

Performance wise, the Moteck is the best. But I personally don't like the way the moteck sounds. Way too loud and it changes the tone of car.

Now if you want best bang for you buck, the Borla is a pretty good deal...
