I'm washing, claying, polishing and sealing today. David's instructions say to use a non-carnuba QD to apply the sealant. I bought the Mothers clay kit that comes with a QD, but neither the bottle nor the box indicate whether it is non-carnuba. Can I use it?

I've actually just updated the detailing 101 thread. Thanks for reminding me with this question.
I no longer advocate misting the applicator with QD when applying the SG. I recommend using ONLY water. Reason is because there are too many different QD's out there with different ingredients that can affect the SG.
And with respect to the mothers QD, I've heard conflicting info as to whether it does or doesn't have carnuba in it.
Just use plain old water instead. That's what I've been using and its worked very well.
