I just got some ///M5 mirors for my e34 and took them to the shop that painted my car and they quoted me $175.00 :eek: for both mirrors. ( 1 Hr prep+materials per mirror) That seems awful high. An comments or suggestion. Maybe someplace else in Sacramento Area.....

There was a thread in one forum here where someone went to a shop and had color matched PPG paint put in high compression cans and painted his bumper himself. It costs somewhere along the lines of $25 a can. I wouldn't do huge panels with this method, but it should be satisfactory for something as small as a set of mirrors.

I'm thinking of trying it with an updated grill panel on my E36 since the surface area isn't all that big.
