Car is very close in getting down. Today I installed the water injection kit and tomorrow I'm plugging in the DME and gonna get it tuned on the dyno. Here are some installation pics from the past few days.

I installed an A-pillar gauge pod with boost and oil temperature gauges only.

Here I installed a Greddy Turbo Timer and Boost controller.

Here's a picture of the single nozzle on the intake elbow for the water/alcohol injection system. Next to it is the pump (race version)

I made holes in the carpet for the water supply hose and the electrical wires for the low level sending unit.

Forgot to take pics of the tank. Installation of the water injection kit is very simple. If you can change shocks and springs, then you can install this kit. Just have the proper electrical tools for crimping etc.

Since my high boost setting is only 8.5psi, I only installed a stage 1 system with the large nozzle. Its the same setup used on the Supercharger kits.

The stage 2 system I believe uses 2 nozzles, a high pressure switch, and a few other things. This setup is used on turbo kits making 12psi or higher.

hey jon, congrats.

have you thought about installing these on boardmembers cars as a contract job? i'm not in the market for a turbo as of now, but i think you can have some fun (was it fun?), get paid for it, and get some extra money on the side. :dunno

Hey Jon:
In general, what other mods really should be considered to support the additional power and imparted stress of a turbo or sc?

Looks like you still have the stockers in place. With the extra power, it might be $70 well spent. Can't wait to hear about the results of the install. Good luck!

Hey I have the same Greddy products but my boost controller is on the top of my turbo timer.

I noticed that you have your response set to about the 1:00 postion on the boost controller. If you want more or faster response try setting it at the 9:00 position that is where I run mine. As soon as you squeeze the throttle the car will take off.
If you have one of those AAA car membership I have a Caa for Canada I removed tha damm full spare its 45lbs and carry a can of seal it. If I ever get a bad flat I will call my coworker and he will go to my office and bring me the spare or 3 free towing per year up to 120 miles.

You do know that the spare tire is part of the rear crumple zone, and is designed to help protect the passenger compartment in the case of a rear end collision, don't you?

Sam L -
The thought has come to mind but we'll see down the road how it goes.

SlickM3 -
The stock M3 drivetrain components could hold up to this setup. That is unless the driver loves to dump the clutch and power shift then aftermarket parts are recommend to be replaced. Before I installed the turbo kit I also added an Active Autowerke lightweight flywheel and their high performance clutch kit.
Right now I need to replace my rear toe bushings and rear camber control arms with AA versions and replace the guibo as well.

95 MPWR-
Yes I still do have the stock transmission bushings but I dont plan on replacing them anytime soon. I have a JTD Transmission brace with track bushings but I only install that for high performance driving events. Forgot to mention that installation was done Dec. 17th 2001. I drove the vehicle from Miami, FL to Atlanta, GA. Then from El Paso, TX to Los Angeles, CA with no problems.

M3TurboCa-
Those were the settings before the M3 was put on the dyno. Right now my balance is full sharp. Low boost on 7psi and high boost on 9psi.

Here's a pic of the 2gal. water tank. Right now I have 75% distilled water and 25% rubbing alcohol.

Here you can see the water injection pump mounted next to the cruise control actuator. I tried to hide as much wiring as I can. Can you see the nozzle on the intake elbow?

Right front side view. I use to have the HID Ballast behind the front bumper but since I have no room to place it back there, I repositioned it between the air filter and boost controller.

Hey John, great job...One thing I notice is that it looks like you gave yourself nice slack in the hose at the tank hookup..In my installation, I dont have enough slack...Which is a problem when I need to do any battery work...I dont have enough slack to move the tank off the tray....So, I need to disconnect the water takup assemply by unscrewing the 4 torx #25 screws holding it to the top of the tank, and lift it off...then, I can move the tank out of the way, and rest the takeup assembly on to of the side panel covering the rsm. I see where my hose is connected to a splice assembly, but Ive had no luck twisting the hose off...its on there tight....If you have any suggestions so taht I dont have to unscrew this assembly each time I need to get to the battery, please advise! Thanks.
