I went to the track last night and could not get a full powershifted 2nd to 3rd. I aim for the clock(thanks Tommy), but unless I lift a little or double-clutch it will NOT go into 3rd. Is this a known problem? Is there a fix for it? Lastly, anyone recommend some super-sticky 18" rubber for the rears?

What kind of tranny fluid are you running?

Your synchros might be worn.

drivetrain will twist slightly causing shifting problems under a hard load. I thought I had seen this before, I could be wrong, just my 2 cts

Yes the drivetrain will twist under hard accel and powershifting is somewhat difficult. I suggest TME's to reduce that effect.

Have you mastered the superfast shift using the clutch first, before venturing into powershifting?

And yes, sticky 18's = Nitto DR's...

Nitto's are trash. Go with Michelin Pilots....the "Cup's" are sick for grip...

It depends on what application you tried to use it for

nitto 555 DR's, not the street applications I think is what 17PSI implyed? I think the BFG DR's are stickier though.

Yeah, I'd never use Nittos as an everyday tire, only for the strip. And BFG DR's are better for the strip, but I don't they some in 18's yet....
