Went to the dyno today, to get new baseline numbers... before the test I checked my LTFT...

Normally, my LTFT ranges from -4.5 to -6.3 (I check pretty often)...... however today, it was at -7.8!!! Check out my AFR... running real lean with the LTFT @ -7.8....

This was the first time I saw my LTFT this negative.... when its at the -4.5 to -6.3 range... my AFR is safer.. I wonder what's causing my LTFT to swing so far negative.... I wonder if its a sign that some maintence needs to be done....

Oh, and also I finally figured out why osh was quoting 9 psi with my setup ( 6" crank pulley and 3.12" sc pulley ).... My rev limiter is set right before 6500RPM.... thus limiting boost...

Anyhow here's the dyno.... I think a 6800 redline would yield more hp..... torque was not dropping off...

BTW, max values were:

271.4 rwhp
243.9 rwtq

I way too lean from 5000-5750RPM... mainly due to the -7.8 LTFT....

How come you only had 271.4 rwhp and 243.9 rwtq with a stage II supercharger? I ran 292rwhp and 320rwtq with 75 shot nos no internal work.

I have a SC-ed 2.8.... I think you're thinking about a stage II kit on a 3.2l S52 engine....

Dave, I see you used my buddy Bristol Dyno.. Nice guy, isnt he... very willing to help. You can get an electronic copy of your runs from his website dyno database in case you didnt know :)

Now, I agree, in that range you are too lean. Id rather see you take a line from your afr at 4000 rpms, and draw it straight to your afr at 6000 rpms, thereby bypassing that whole lean section with a better ratio. This is stock rms software? If you normally see -4 to -6, and this time you saw -8, thats not that big a departure.. Remember, your ltft is designed to fluctuate depending on all kinds of things, including weather. It doesnt have to mean anything at all. .So just keep an eye on it over the next few weeks....I bet it will go back up slightly, to match what you had been seeing most of the time.. IM getting spoiled with some of Nick's ecus Im running.. My LTFTs never have gone beyond the -2 to +2 range.. :) Although with my Dinan software, I would usually see in the -4 to -7 range.
