I don't recall the county I was pulled over but it was about an hour West of Hickory. I was in the E55 and ran into some twisties I couldn't pass up. I was given a speeding ticket (95 in 55) and reckless driving. They want me to come back for a court date in May:rolleyes:

You guys telling me NC doesn't have traffic lawyers?!? Dallas is full of them. Many offering to dismiss or lower the fine for only 50-150 bucks.

Well the first trooper was cool about it. The second one, the one that clocked me, was an ass. Maybe cus he had to send the first officer to stop me? He kept on screaming at me about drugs and guns.

Well I don't have to go back to NC. I'll get the wreckless dropped only if I plead guilty to speeding. And all this for a mere 900 bucks. There goes my supercharger fund.

If you fought it, which I would strongly suggest you do if you lived in state, you could probably get it all dropped for court cost and lawyer's fee.

I don't know what your insurance situation is like, but you might be in for a big hit that could be avoided if you got off, and it's not as hard as people think.

Fight a 95 in a 55? The DA gave me the choices above. I still need to talk to other lawyers and see what they think. I still haven't called Daniel Ward. I should prolly do that soon.
