We should organize a MEMBER's meet for April with Bimmerforums, Baybimmers.com, Kein Reis, TampaVeedubs, VWFixx, . Somewhere between Naples and Orlando, where we can have aver 400 cars.

www.baybimmers.com meets every month on a large meet, but we have skept 2 months now, so we have to make it up!!

Are you guys up to sharing with other VW, AUDI, BMW, MERCEDES??? I know there are members from out of State, but I see many are here in Florida... so gimme the Heads up if you are up for a big ol' meet!.

I really think there should be a BimmerfestSouth for all the southern states and hold it in like orlando or souh florida..people drive miles to goto the other ones..they would certainly go to this one...and it would get a lot more people from the south.. :D

we are pretty advanced right now on the meet., Bimmerforums, E46fanatics, Baybimmers, Bimmervibe, E30sport, bmwsport, tampaveedubs, VWfixx, Kein Reis, mini, audi, and porsche clubs will attend too.
Now we are looking for location... POSIBLY in Ft. Myers.

ok..i wrote it down..now we just need to get a few thousand cars to show up :) ...its a lot of cars..but who says it cant be done

I already talked with my car's PO and he said he will bring down his Z3 and his e36 to me the meet for sure.

As it shows right now, the poll gives us STILL less than 10% of the members are going to show up for SURE to this meet...
30 people are for sure (it is always less)

You need to understand that we show this thread and votes and Stats to the Sponsoring companies, Vendors, and entities that support the site and members. With this Stats we proove the kind of business we can bring to them, and that's how we got PLENTY of goodies and freebies for Winterblaze.
This is all a projection, and I am not excited about the numbers I am seeing here.
I want to have a meet where MANY companies come to meet you guys, to leard, get deals, group buys, freebies and lots of fun!.
I am in charge of that, but this is really not helping as I cannot "brag" about this poll.
Toniught I will make the Official FRESH Thread about German Auto Fest.
That gives me 1 month to gather as many vendors and sponsors i can for this.
DO NOT FORGET we are going to have to charge a $5 per car park entrance fee (due to the $20 per hour the State requires) and advertisment costs.
Moneys will be collected AT the entrance and within the park for those who arrive early. A parking pass in Necessary and we are going to try to keep ALL OTHER makes separate from the actual event. (this was by request, I support it, yet not my idea)

sounds good ,, no promises though for hot import nights is may 15 in orlando and a few of crew has already paid the $53 to enter , i and some other wont be doing that road trip but i did speak to a few others and said hell yeah the drive to naples across alligator alley would be a blast especially if we bumped into a few bimmers on the way , man that would be a pretty sight , a few turboed and supercharged lex's running with some sweet sick bimmers on i75 with no PO PO in sight ,, fantasy island kicking in

yea this meet is not happening. The park that we were going to do this at changed their mind and said we cant use it...

I am in the process of planning a meet, hopefully at a karting venue...

I will try and keep you guys up to date...

And for the guy who said meet in Oralndo, we have met there every year, where were you?

well for now i gotta say yes...we are tryen to just get a new location but we'll see

just on a long shot..but if you ARE possibly interested in Orlando there is a park here that some friends and I used for a fairly large VW/Audi meet back when I had my GTI. It's called Downy Park and it's near the east side of town right off a main road and close to some hotels. It worked out extremely well, wasn't too expensive for us, and most of the parking was on paved lots (and we had well over 100 cars come out). Lots of shady areas and a big pavilion for eating and stuff. PM me if you're interested, I'm less than 15 min. from the park.

allright i will keep that in mind...we are working on a later date and if karting doesnt work out...we might be back in orlando...

the thing is we have winterblaze in orlando every year...i though naples would be a nice medium for summerblaze...

Maybe the trip to miami would be worth it... It just seems like the tampa area folks are the only ones willing to drive...(no offense to miami, they drive, just not a big %)

And we all know orlando people dont step outside the county haha...

haha....sooo true. well i, for one, am willing to drive as far as miami for a good turnout. Hell..i just bought this thing, I'll take any excuse to hop on the highway.

lets pull something real big , organized and eventful together..

lets do something bigger then what the northeast did last weekend..my fellow clublex brethren up in the northeast pulled off a whopper of a meet with almost 150+ car turnout with bmw's having a real strong showing..


i know if you guys are interested can do even bigger after all we have some of the sweetest rides in country down here and we have the beautiful weather to boot

kevlar , we can do something bro , i picture 200+ turnout of lex's, bmw's maybe vw's and audi's.. for a weekend long get together


what you all think , are we competative or what , can we outdo the northeast organize and do a grand daddy of all meets /shows where we bring the northeast meeting the southeast andshow cali how we do it

WHEN IS IT?????

well as you guys probably know, Bryan Asay(BAMA) passed away last month. That sent everything to a screaching halt...

Right now im trying to plan something for the the month of July...Ideally i'd like to do it at a karting facility, such as www.mega-racing.com , where not only can we meet, but have some friendly competition on the race track...

I've heard megaracing is really fun but to get to the facility is terrible. As in the roads are full of potholes etc...

It doesnt have to be there but im looking to have, i guess, more than a meet...

I also want to have it in the Ft. Myers, Naples region...in favor of the Miami crowd. They have been so gracious as to driving the past couple years, i figured that woul dbe nice...

If all else fails i will look elsewhere though...
