I washed the car today so I thought I would take a couple of pix. I just added the tach Bezels and two black "4.4i "emblems on each side of the car.

All I need is money. I'm not sure if the 3 spoke will fit because of my car being a 97. I think there might be an air bag issue. I'm saving my money to get the Victor steering wheel.

Mario how do you like them compared to the breyton Magics racings, do you see any difference. Why did you get rid of the Magics.

They are the same size in every way to the Magics. I sold the Magics because I bent the front wheel and I didn't feel like fixing it. I got a great deal on these wheels and tires.

When are you going to get your gears. I thinking 3.64 very soon!

Your car is coming along great. I finally got the rims that I want so I'm going to hold on a little longer and purchase a M5 3.15 LSD used if I can find one.

It would be cheap to get a 3.46Lsd by VAC for $2700, that way you will have even bang for you buck and you won't have to change out the half shafts. Also you can get custom lock up on the 3.46LSD 25%, 40% or more

Dont you think the 3.46 will be too much for the 6speed. Whats the difference in having a 25 to 40 percent lock up and which is better.

3.46 will be perfect. Dinan's diff upgrade for the M5 is a 3.45 and that car is doing 12.7 1/4miles. I know a guy that has a 97 six speed with a 3.46lsd and loves it. He also has a 7000 rpm limiter.

Well if you raise the RPM to 7000 the 3.64 would be fine.. But I dont plan on raising the RPM that mutch, besides I think its bad for the engine. What about the lock up what does 25 and 40 do.

KUDO 540: Awesome aluminum bezels! I also ordered a set from Germany, expecting delivery any day now. Did you simply follow the instructions for installation that the seller emailed (Elke/Peter)...or use an alternate method...are they very difficult to install? Also, spectacular 540i....not that it would look any meaner, but have you ever considered installing an M5 front bumper cover?

Thanks, Steve

Thank you Steve,
I paid $85.00 for mine on Ebay. Took about an hour to install, it would have gone a ton faster if I had someone helping me. The cluster has to be seperated and these five crosses have to be twisted at the same time. It is a simple idea but you need like four hands

I do want the BMW OEM lip or M5 but it just cost money. I kind of want my gears first.
