I would like to even out my cross total weights and will add different thickness spring pads to achieve it on a non-adjustable suspension. For those who corner weighed their car, how much weight is added to any given corner (and opposite corner) when you change the ride height a known fixed amount? For instance, can somebody tell me their corner weight increased xxx pounds for every ¼ inch of ride height increase?
Thanks in advance,
Bob

Are you restricted to non coilovers for a class or something? If you are allowed, I would say just go for a set of coils, its much easier and quicker. Thats the purpose of coilovers really, the allow proper conrner balancing.

Yes, adjustable perches are illegal in stock class.
Common folks, nobody has data from when they made ride height measurements/changes on the scales?

I'd imagine this isn't the sort of thing you can just throw out a number for like '1/4" is a 200 lbs change'. It likely depends on spring rates, if the springs are linear or progressive, the center of gravity of the car, and probably other stuff as well. I think your best bet would be to just use trial and error/ It's slow but it works.
All that aside, I don't think you are allowed to alter your spring perches in stock class anyway. I'm not 100% sure on that, but you should probably ask that question first.

What class are you referring to? I'm assuming you're not talking about autocross since corner-weighting is illegal in stock class. Spring perch shimming is illegal.

Stock class club racing. Different thickness rear spring pads are available, are stock BMW parts, and are legal.
Yes, it will vary based on spring rates, ARB thickness, and other factors. But I am looking for a general number from those who have measured it. I'll take any data at this point.

Sorry Bob, can't help. We go by turns on the spring perch and not by any measured distance.
