Are the butt brace and body brace legal modifications in SM2 or SM in SCCA Solo II??? I don't have my rule book here and was wondering if anyone else had looked into it?

i talked to a guy last weekend with a z3 and the body brace and he is running sm2

The question is, will he run Divisioaly or Nationally and be competative? If so, I hope he knows he might be protested if he wins.

I "Think" the Brace may be ok as it only traverses from front to rear but does not "Cross" to brace side to side as well. The Butt strutt ends up being cross bracing on the frame. I "think" this would make it a no no.
