Private race testing day at VIR, March 11th. Must have racing license (SCCA, BMW CCA, FIA, IMSA, etc.) and a race prepared car. Multiple professional teams in the paddock. Serious testing/tuning/track time. Full day.
Need a few more cars to make it work. Costs will be split equally per car (hoping for around $400 each). Either North or Full Course depending on commitments. Contact me for more details.

Damn, if only my car was ready in time I would be down in a heartbeat. Keep me informed of anymore testing days because I am down for whenever as long as my car is done.

Will do. We've got a motor to break in and a new rear diff to tune the suspension for, so I doubt we'll be setting any track records...though the last session of the day, I do believe I'll make a try for the 2 minute barrier if we are running full course! :evil2

I wish, still a lot to do. Still waiting on a few internals from the engine shop plus we are going to weld/support the rear of the car. At this point I think we have a 30% chance of the car making it to VIR in April :( We'll see how it goes

Oh well...looks like our motor won't even be together now, so we're out. If anyone is still interested, I can put you in touch with the organizing party.

What do you mean? Weld in pickup point supports? Is the same cage shop going to do it?

Unfortunately, yes.
Not going all the way to Texas with a motor that's not broken in or even tested in the car and a new rear end that the suspension hasn't been setup for.
