Hello all-

After starting an earlier thread and learning the merits and pitfalls of cross-drilled rotors, I have conceded that OEM rotors are the ones for me.

Now, which OEM replacements? ATE, BALO, ZIMMERMAN and BREMBO all make OEM replacements, and I think ATE and BALO are actually OE brands.

Out of the lot, Brembo's are cheaper by about $15.. not a big deal... but are they all the same? any of them better? Brembo claims to use a high carbon content in the steel, but don't know if that makes for a better brake.

Will be using BMW OEM pads.

Thanks in advance, Ray

Sorry, I got no idea...
I don't think there is much of a diference on OEM rotors, but I could be wrong...

If you want a "cool looks" try the Zimmermann drilled rotors. They look cool, are inexpensive and offer OEM Quality....
