I'm looking at a car in/around Ft. Lauderdale, and would like a recommendation for a mechanic. I'd prefer a mechanic with som track time, as the car I'm considering has some mods.

How expensive is activeautowerks? I might be needing a pre inspecting in MIami, myself , soon . Any others in Miami?

Update: Redline is Great!

Flew to Ft. L on Sunday, saw car/brought to Redline on Monday, bought that night.

Redline could not have been better. Several small things were fixed on the spot, and honest opinions abounded from all the mechanics. We debated price/condition/options, and generally agreed on a price, after MUCH discussion.

Great bunch of mechs that seem to know their business. More important, they love Bimmers, and the folk who also respect/enjoy them. Poseurs need not apply.

Again, Great experience. Highly recommend Redline.
