So... I was out tonight looking to take some people to the 'University of ///MPower' :D Tonight I took down a variety of other cars who thought they were big enough to wrestle with the M.

After having my fun I'm on my way home and there is what looks to be a firebird behind me. He's looking anxious so I move over. He pulls up next to me and he guns it. Unfortunately I'm in 4th and he walks all over me. :o I notice on the back of his car is a tag that says LS4.

He pulls even with me and this time I slow us down to 75 and drop it down to 3rd. This time, I gun it first and all the way through 3rd I'm holding him, I change to 4th and he starts pulling on me slowly... in 5th he's walking away from me. BASTARD!

So he drops back again... Again from 75 and we go at it again. Same results. 3rd gear I hold him. 4th gear he starts to creep on me... when I hit 5th, he starts walkign away from me.

Well, I guess you can't win 'em all. I'm guessing an LS4 is a fast ass transam... cause I know my car isn't slow. Oh well... another reason to save for that Turbo.

I had a Z28 w/ the LT1 before my Bimmer, so I know a whole lot about Camaros/Firebirds; I've never heard of a LS4 TA, nor any LS4's in the Camaros or Firebirds. The Corvette ZO6 engine is referred to as the LS4 I believe, but that is only in the ZO6. As I'm sure you know, the newer (since '98) Camaros and Firebirds have the LS1's, the same as the C5 Vette. Anyways, an LS1 is still FAST, mid to low 13s bone stock with a good driver, so I sure would not be upset losing to one, and it sounds like you held him pretty well. Also, I bet he pulled you so much in 5th since he's also got a 6th gear to go. Anyway, good race, you should be happy you held close to that beast so well!;)

Isnt WS6 the code for the Ram air package in the trans am... its like z28:SS::Transam:WS6 if your into the SAT's he he BUt yeah, im pretty sure theres some later model ones that have a little WS6 badge down where the Z28 is on the back of camero's
